Job Summary: The Warehouse and Facility Associate will ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency by organizing, establishing, monitoring, and supporting operational goals. They will also be responsible for maintenance, repair, and safety of the facilities. Planning, coordination, and strategy development for ensuring the long-term improvement of the facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
- Organizing warehouse storage space
- Support order fulfillment processes (picking, cutting, packing and shipping)
- Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessary.
- Deliver and pick up materials to offsite locations (Local)
- Perform daily cycle counts
- Perform operations tasks including cleaning and organizing the facility
- Operate equipment including (forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks)
- Receive and inspect incoming products and supplies
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
Preferred:
o Understanding of overall business process including quotation, sales, purchasing and logistics.
o Customer service orientated
o Attention to detail, accuracy and cleanliness
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- License to operate forklift
- Two or more years of experience in a warehouse role
- Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies
- Shipping and receiving knowledge (PO’s, BOL’s, pick tickets)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff
- Ability to lift 50-75 LBS consistently
- Intermediate Computer Skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Must have a driver’s license and a good driving record
Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
