Transformers Towing Ltd. is looking for a reliable, organized, and motivated Dispatcher / Office Administrator to join our team. This is a key position that combines dispatching, customer service, office administration, and light bookkeeping.
We’re looking for someone who can confidently manage day-to-day operations and help keep the business running smoothly, including taking charge when the owner is away.
Responsibilities
- Dispatch tow truck drivers efficiently using dispatch software.
- Answer incoming phone calls and provide excellent customer service.
- Coordinate roadside assistance requests.
- Communicate professionally with insurance companies, motor clubs, dealerships, police, and other third-party partners.
- Respond to emails and maintain professional correspondence.
- Schedule jobs and monitor driver progress.
- Prepare invoices and process paperwork.
- Assist with bookkeeping, record keeping, and organizing financial documents.
- Maintain accurate customer and company records.
- Help oversee daily office operations and ensure everything runs efficiently.
- Support management with administrative tasks and problem-solving.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in towing dispatch, transportation, logistics, or a similar role is an asset.
- Experience with bookkeeping or office administration is preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
- Able to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Experience with towing dispatch software is an asset but training can be provided.
