General Laborer – Metal Recycling Plant
Belleville, MI | $16.00 – $16.50/hour | Full-Time
Join a fast-paced, global leader in metal recycling! Our Belleville plant processes over a billion pounds of ferrous and non-ferrous metals annually, supplying customers worldwide. We’re hiring General Laborers who are ready to work hard, stay safe, and grow with us.
Schedule:
- Day Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM
- Four 10-hour shifts (Monday–Thursday or Tuesday-Friday) with possible overtime
What You’ll Do:
- Sort, pick, and lift scrap materials from conveyors to keep operations running smoothly
- Maintain a clean and organized work area for safety and efficiency
- Operate forklifts to transport scrap materials (training provided if needed)
- Assist with additional duties assigned by plant management
What You Bring:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–2 years of general labor or manufacturing experience preferred
- Forklift experience/certification a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously
Pay: $16.00 – $16.50 per hour
