Solution Centre Associate

Employee Type: Full Time

Schedule: Monday – Friday or Tuesday – Saturday (flexibility required – including one evening shift per week)

Location: Head Office, North Vancouver (hybrid work options available)

Key responsibilities of this role are:

Provides service and sales across the four pillars of banking including borrowing, investments (may include mutual funds), insurance, and general banking. Refers to specialists and/or branch staff when required.

Conducts outbound calls for a variety of sales and service initiatives aimed at business retention and growth.

Grants mortgages, consumer loans and other credit applications within assigned lending limits. Promotes the sales of credit insurance. Makes appropriate recommendations to manager for credit above limits.

Promotes and completes the sale for investment products (may include mutual funds). Makes referrals to investment specialists as required.

Ensures BlueShore Financial and Solution Centre service/sales standards are adhered to in order to enhance and maximize business opportunities with internal and external partners.

Qualifications and Experience

1-3 years of directly related financial services experience.

Solid understanding of credit products and procedures with previous experience structuring and granting credit (including mortgages).

Mutual funds license is preferred.

Pay Transparency

Pay transparency is an important characteristic of our recruitment process and overall BlueShore culture which supports a diverse, equitable and inclusive workforce.

This role is on a salary step program that provides timely recognition of skill development at important intervals. Salaries on this program are reviewed quarterly to reflect progress made. The range for this role is $55,800 – $66,300, plus variable reward bonus.
