Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales and Logistics Coordinator to oversee and optimize our sales and logistic operations at our poultry processing facility. This role involves working directly with customers, creating daily trucker run sheets, booking orders and selling unsold extra products as well as other duties.

Responsibilities

  • Order taking via telephone and electronic methods.
  • Order taking via outbound calling and electronic methods.
  • Organizing delivery and pickup schedules.
  • Consolidation invoices and entering corrections into accounting software as needed.
  • Assisting with roll out projects that involve sales, procurement, or logistics.
  • Organizing and filing documents related to sales and order fulfilment.
  • Keeping a tidy and organized workstation as best as possible.
  • Forecasting supply needs related to customer requests and order fulfilment.
  • Assisting with organizing and taking customer pickup orders out to their vehicles when needed.
  • Working with customers and vendors to ensure orders are received and fulfilled as accurately as possible.
  • Other duties as mutually agreed upon by Employee and Employer.

Skills

  • Perfect English both written and oral is required. Additional languages are a bonus.
  • Excellent working knowledge of outlook, excel, word, sharepoint, ERPs and route mapping.
  • Excellent understanding of the poultry business in Ontario.
  • Experience dealing with building truck run sheets and distributing orders to drivers.
  • Ability to work under high pressure and for long hours during rush periods.
  • Preference given to those with 2+ years direct customer sales experience.

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
