Job Overview

Duties
- Conduct regular pool inspections to monitor water quality, chemical levels, and system functionality
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including skimming debris, vacuuming pools, and brushing surfaces to maintain pristine conditions
- Diagnose and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorination systems using hand tools and power tools
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, chemical treatments, and repairs performed
- Assist with opening and closing pools seasonally, ensuring all safety protocols are followed
- Respond promptly to service calls for equipment malfunctions or pool issues to minimize downtime
- Follow safety procedures diligently during all maintenance tasks to ensure a secure working environment
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various pool systems and equipment
- Experience with pool maintenance tasks including cleaning, chemical balancing, and water testing
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for repairs and installations
- Service technician experience is highly desirable to handle complex equipment issues confidently
- Knowledge of pool safety standards and best practices for maintaining a hazard-free environment
- Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Good communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
