Position Summary
Shelter Canadian Properties Limited is seeking an energetic, reliable, detail-oriented, and hardworking Multi-Residential Building Cleaner for a rental apartment community in Belleville, Ontario. This position plays an important role in maintaining the property’s appearance, cleanliness, and overall resident satisfaction. The successful candidate will serve as a key on-site representative and help ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
Responsibilities
Cleaning and Maintenance
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of common areas, hallways, entrances, stairwells, laundry facilities, and other public spaces.
Clean and prepare residential suites for new residents.
Perform apartment turnover cleaning to company standards.
Complete routine grounds maintenance, including litter collection and seasonal upkeep.
Report maintenance concerns and safety hazards to the Property Manager.
Assist with other duties as assigned.
Resident Relations
Respond to tenant inquiries and concerns in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
Foster positive relationships with residents and visitors.
Assist in maintaining a safe and secure living environment.
Respond appropriately and professionally during emergencies and unforeseen situations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum one (1) year of cleaning experience required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Reliable, dependable, and able to perform physically demanding work.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary: Starting at $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
Full-time – Weekends and Holidays
