Operations Manager Jobs in Oakville, Ontario, Canada at BNQ Financial

Title: Operations Manager

Company: BNQ Financial

Location: Oakville, Ontario, Canada

BNQ Group is hiring an Operations Manager.

BNQ Group is a family office with three operating divisions across mortgage brokerage, private lending, and real estate investment.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who loves building structure, creating accountability, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this person will serve as the operational backbone of BNQ Group across project management, systems, HR administration, vendor management, office operations, leadership support, and operational coordination across BNQ Financial and BNQ Capital.

This is not a narrow operations role. It is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing many hats, thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, and is excited by the opportunity to build processes and infrastructure from the ground up.

The role has three primary areas of focus:

  • PMO / Project Management: driving execution across the business, implementing ClickUp, managing sprint planning, tracking deliverables, maintaining dashboards, and ensuring priorities move forward
  • Vendor & Technology Management: coordinating service providers, managing technology platforms, overseeing vendor performance, supporting cybersecurity and operational systems, and helping ensure key vendor, legal, audit, tax, and technology relationships run smoothly
  • Operations & Leadership Support: HR administration, recruiting logistics, onboarding, office operations, executive support, compliance tracking, operational reporting, and special projects

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has 5–10 years of experience in operations, PMO, project management, chief of staff, or business operations roles
  • Has strong project management experience, ideally within financial services, lending, professional services, real estate, or a startup environment
  • Is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple moving pieces at once
  • Enjoys building systems, improving processes, and creating structure where needed
  • Is comfortable balancing both strategic thinking and hands-on execution
  • Has experience with ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, or similar project management tools, with ClickUp experience considered a strong asset
  • Is confident supporting leadership while also managing vendors, systems, HR administration, office operations, and multiple competing priorities
  • Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity and evolving priorities

Why this role is unique:

  • You will help shape the operating rhythm, accountability, and infrastructure of the company
  • You will work directly with leadership and have visibility across multiple parts of the organization, including lending, underwriting, mortgage brokerage, and real estate operations
  • You will have the opportunity to improve systems, strengthen processes, create accountability, and make a meaningful impact across the business
  • As the business grows, this role has the potential to evolve significantly over time

Location: GTA, ON (Hybrid) or Remote for the right candidate

Compensation: $85,000 – $100,000 base salary plus annual performance bonus
