We are accepting resumes for an experienced (preferably Red Seal/Journeyman) Machinist to work with our trusted team. At Millwright Machine we have the expertise to get every job done well. Our handpicked team of machinists, welders and millwrights and high-capacity machinery keeps us equipped for any heavy repair job that comes through our doors.
The Job:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables
- Repair and adjust machines, tools and parts
- Set up and adjust production machineries/tools
- Experience in manual machining
- Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments
- Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
- Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments
- Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces
- Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
- Have experience in using micrometers, calipers and verniers
- Routine maintenance of machines and tools

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour
