Custodian – 3rd Shift Jobs in Wellman, IA at Mid-Prairie Community Schools
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Custodian to join our team. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial and industrial cleaning, as well as facilities maintenance.
– Perform general custodial duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
– Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
– Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
– Maintain cleanliness of common areas, such as hallways, lobbies, and break rooms
– Perform floor care tasks, including buffing, waxing, and polishing floors
– Assist with setting up and cleaning up after events or meetings
– Follow established safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals in a safe manner
– Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
– Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred
– Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
– Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
– Excellent time management skills
