Locksmith Technician Jobs in Williston, ND at Bakken Locksmith
- Unlock cars, homes, commercial buildings.
- Rekey homes and commercial buildings.
- Make and program car keys.
Experience preferred but not required for a driven candidate. We will be open to training the right person. Management experience would be ideal but also not required. Locksmith candidate with experience in making keys will have a key machine provided to them upon hire.
You must have your own vehicle that is reliable, a work van will be awarded to the right candidate.
This job involves quick thinking, fast movers (so we are able to be on time to emergency dispatched calls.) We are speed locksmiths, so if you worry about not being to a call when given an ETA then this job is probably not for you.
You are an on-call technician, meaning you might get calls throughout the day and there might be times that you may get nothing. Just depends on the call volume for that day. While you’re waiting for a call to come in, feel free to go on with your day until a dispatcher sends something your way. You MUST be willing to drop whatever you’re doing to take whatever comes in, that is part of this job.
We also require our employes to sign a non compete clause from the start of the job.
This is a 1099 type of job so your are responsible for paying your own taxes. Meaning that anything you use for this job, any kind of receipts make sure you save to help you at the end of the year. Gas, food, tooling, anything that is used while on the job, keep track of.
We pay weekly on mondays.
When you’re in training, you will be payed during that time.
We offer 30% to start out at with a possible 5% increase after 6 months. You also get 100% of tips and fuel paid.
We are looking for someone who can eventually manage the area, someone who we can trust. So keep in mind there is plenty of room to move up in this business. We are looking for someone long term, someone to bring into the locksmith "Family."
