Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician with an MVI (Motor Vehicle Inspection) license to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, demonstrating expertise in using both hand and power tools. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, possesses excellent customer service skills, and is capable of performing heavy lifting and welding tasks as needed.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Perform automotive repairs and maintenance on various makes and models.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for diagnostics and repairs.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as required.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures to clients.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex automotive issues.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks related to vehicle repair and maintenance.
Requirements
- Valid MVI license is required.
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic in a dealership or repair shop setting.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely.
- Welding skills are a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in all work performed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
