Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Insulator to join our team. As an Insulator, you will be responsible for installing and replacing insulation materials. If you are able to quote profciently for jobs, that would be considered a huge asset. We are a new company with tons of room for growth and expansion.
A typical day will have you arriving at our office for a 7am start monday to friday if need be, then heading out to job sites around the Okanagan. These include single-family homes, apartments and some commercial/municpal sites as well. Job duties once on site include carrying insultion matierals where needed on site, properly installing fiberglass and rockwool batt insulation to meet our standards, caulk and install polly vapor barriers once the batts are installed, foaming or rod and caulking around windows and doors, and cleaning up the job site. If you are able to quote jobs we would have you doing that as well.
Duties:
– Measure and cut insulation materials to fit into walls, attics, or crawl spaces
– Install insulation in buildings, ensuring proper fit and alignment
– Apply insulation materials using appropriate tools such as caulk guns
– Seal air leaks with caulking to improve energy efficiency
– Follow blueprints and specifications to determine the type and amount of insulation needed
– Remove old insulation when necessary before installing new materials
Requirements:
-Drivers license and vechile
– Proficiency in using hand tools for cutting and shaping insulation materials
– Experience in the insulation industry, 2-3 years experence a must
– Knowledge of different insulation types such as fiberglass, foam, or roxul
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints for insulation placement
– Familiarity with drywall installation techniques is a plus

Pay: $24.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
