Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk management, housekeeping, breakfast food services, inventory management and maintenance.
- Lead and supervise a diverse team of hospitality professionals, ensuring high performance through coaching and development.
- Implement revenue management strategies to maximize occupancy rates and profitability while maintaining excellent guest service standards.
- Manage human resources functions such as hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, hotel policies, and industry standards to provide a secure environment for guests and staff. Maintain brand standards including brand loyalty program compliance, enrollment goals, and satisfactory quality evaluations.
- Maintain effective communication with guests to address inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and enhance overall guest relations.
- Oversee budgeting processes, expense control, and financial reporting to ensure operational efficiency and sustainability.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to maintain quality service delivery for all hotel amenities and supplies.
- Promote a positive guest experience by ensuring exceptional customer service at every touchpoint from check-in to check-out.
- Utilize multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette to handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests efficiently.
Skills
- Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles with supervising responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles including revenue management, guest services, and human resources practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences.
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and operational planning within a resort or hotel setting.
- Familiarity with front desk operations, night audit procedures, and multi-line phone systems.
