Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our agricultural team. This role involves supporting various operational tasks, including mechanical work, equipment handling, and site maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical aptitude, familiarity with hand and power tools, and experience in shop environments. This position offers an opportunity to develop technical skills and contribute to efficient production processes in a dynamic work setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist with mechanical tasks using hand tools, power tools, and schematics.
- Operate forklifts and other machinery safely to move materials.
- Perform machining tasks as needed, including measuring with calipers and other precision tools
- Conduct welding and mechanical work following safety protocols and technical specifications
- Maintain organized work areas, ensuring safety standards are met at all time
- Qualifications
- Previous mechanical work preferred
- Familiarity with forklift operation, machining, welding, and mechanical systems is a plus
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measurement instruments
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to work safely around machinery and follow safety protocols at all times
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
