Full-Time Paint/Order Desk Associate – Windsor, NS Jobs in Windsor at Payzant Building Products Ltd.

Responsibilities:
Work in compliance with laws and regulations, attend and complete all required health and safety training, report all accidents, and take every precaution reasonable to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
Provide superior customer service, this includes greeting customers, providing information, completing sales, stocking products and creating displays, learning about new products and attending training.
Assess customer needs and provide expert advice on paint department products. Present and demonstrate the product highlighting its positive features and suggest complimentary products.
Support the marketing of products in its department such as: display of merchandise, visual presentation and labelling.
Ensure and participate in the maintenance of the paint department.
Be aware of current promotions and flyers.
Develop a basic knowledge of all the departments in the store.
Answer phones in a polite and timely manner.
Process payments made with cash, debit cards, credit cards and gift cards by accurately and efficiently operating the cash register while treating every customer fairly and with respect.
Give customers color and paint product selection advice.
Problem-solve customer questions.
Maintain a well-rounded understanding of products on hand.
Perform other duties as required.
