Overview
Immediate opening for an experienced landscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a good understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves building and maintaining beautiful landscapes, ensuring that gardens and outdoor spaces are healthy, vibrant, and well-kept. The Landscaper will work with various hand and power tools to perform tasks that enhance the aesthetic appeal of properties.
Responsibilities
- Help perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Help build and install landscape features such as flower beds, patios, and walkways.
- Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers while ensuring proper soil conditions.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Monitor plant health and perform necessary care such as fertilization, pruning, and pest control.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, as well as power tools like lawnmowers and trimmers.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions from supervisors effectively.
- A valid driver’s license is required to drive company vehicles to job sites.
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 10 months
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
