Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Food Truck Cook. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our food truck.
Duties:
– Take customer orders and handle cash transactions accurately
– Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and quality standards
– Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the food truck, including food preparation areas and serving counters
– Assist with food preparation, such as chopping vegetables, grilling meats, or assembling sandwiches
– Operate POS system to process orders and track sales
– Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints
– Manage time effectively to ensure efficient service during peak hours
– Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the food truck
– Assist in maintaining inventory levels and restocking supplies as needed
Skills:
– Cash handling experience and ability to perform basic math calculations accurately
– Knowledge of food service procedures and best practices in the food industry
– Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and payment transactions
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
– Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
– Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
– Ability to work well in a team-oriented setting, supporting colleagues as needed
– Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques
– Must have food Handlers
