The Email Marketing Coordinator contributes to the success of Sur La Table by assisting with calendaring, developing, testing, and deploying email + SMS campaigns. This position will partner with our creative and brand marketing teams as well as our email marketing platform partners to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in all digital marketing campaigns. The Email + SMS Coordinator proactively offers independent data-based insights and recommendations in addition to providing insights in response to requested business needs.

A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

This position reports to the Email + SMS Marketing Manager.

What you get to do every day:

Lead the email & SMS campaign creation process from start to finish including template creation, image slicing, placing creatives within emails, audience segmentation, email testing, and final campaign launch.

Work collaboratively with our internal creative team to manage emails from intake to campaign execution.

Suggest testing opportunities to improve performance within email/SMS and execute testing from ideation to analysis.

Contribute to the monthly marketing campaign planning process as a key stakeholder. Lead the development of personalization capabilities to support channel growth and help drive business performance.

Manage the daily

quality assurance

process with various stakeholders from ecom-

merchandising

and creative to ensure the on-time delivery and accuracy of campaigns.

Partner with email & SMS platform vendors to adopt best practices and improve performance.

Drive improvement in email processes to operate more effectively through

collaboration

with cross-divisional teams. Communicate closely with the creative,

merchandising

, and ecommerce teams.

Work closely with the Email + SMS manager to analyze campaign performance and suggest recommendations for improving channel performance.

What you bring to the role:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.

1-3 years of relevant email work experience.

Experience with

the following email/SMS, analytics, and creative tools is a plus (Emarsys, Wunderkind, Google Analytics, Heap, Adobe Suite, Canva).HTML and CSS email coding experience is a plus.

Retail experience

Ability to

handle a
