Role Description

The Director, Marketing & Partner Engagement, will lead marketing strategies and partner collaboration efforts to drive business growth and strengthen industry relationships. Responsibilities include developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans, conducting market research, managing key marketing initiatives, and overseeing strategic partnerships. The role requires fostering alignment between marketing and sales efforts, identifying growth opportunities, and building effective go-to-market campaigns. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ottawa, ON.

Qualifications

  • 7–10+ years in B2B, B2G marketing, ideally in technology distribution, channel/partner marketing, or public sector.
  • Experience with Canadian federal and provincial government procurement environments (asset, not requirement)
  • Strong expertise in Marketing, Marketing Management, and Market Planning to develop effective strategies and meet organizational goals.
  • Partner marketing experience — coordinating with OEM/vendor marketing teams on joint GTM.
  • Proficiency in Market Research to analyze trends, assess market opportunities, and gain industry insights.
  • Experience in Sales to align marketing efforts with business development objectives and support revenue growth.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are an asset.
  • Experience in technology, public sector, or procurement-related industries is a plus.
