Directional Drill Operator Jobs in Circleville, OH at Elect General Contractors, Inc
Looking for EXPERIENCED Directional Drill operator. You must have at least 2 years experience for a machine operator. Please only EXPERIENCED and serious applicants apply.
Responsibilities:
- Operates Horizontal Directional Drill for installation and underground conduit
- Insures safety of public and other underground facilities
- Performs all duties according to prescribed safety procedures and uses appropriate safety equipment
- Set up and cleanup of work-site, including traffic and pedestrian control
- Reads utility locates and coordinates day lights of these facilities
- Works with crew to ensure all applicable permits and locates are complete and on site
- Inspects the work that is in progress to ensure that the workmanship conforms to specifications
- Operates construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery to grade specifications
- Levels earth to final grade specifications
- Operates trucks and operational equipment as directed and certified
- Performs proper maintenance by greasing, oiling, and minor repair work
- Leads team in the field effectively and efficiently as needed and directed by the supervisor

Pay: $23.00 – $27.00 per hour
