Responsibilities
- Remove and replace auto glass on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring proper fit and secure installation
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform glass repairs and installations efficiently
- Conduct vehicle inspections to assess damage, identify additional repair needs, and prepare accurate auto estimating reports
- Apply advanced techniques such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration to ensure vehicle safety features function correctly after repairs
- Perform window tinting and detailing to enhance vehicle appearance and customer satisfaction
- Assist with auto body repair tasks, including minor mechanical adjustments and assembly work when necessary
- Lift heavy glass components safely, following proper procedures to prevent injury or damage
Requirements
- Proven experience in dealership auto glass installation or repair is highly preferred
- Knowledge of ADAS systems calibration, auto body repair, and vehicle maintenance practices
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and auto estimating software
- Mechanical knowledge combined with experience using various tools for automotive repair tasks
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Prior experience with window tinting, auto glass replacement, or auto body work is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to work flexible hours as needed
