Job Summary:
We are looking for a working foreman to lead a small group of field installers. The ideal candidate will have experience installing steel structures and have experience in all-position stick welding. The job requires driving straight to the job site every day with company provided tools. Job sites are focused mainly in the Greater Toronto Area, with the occasional job outside the GTA.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Installing various metal items and fall protection systems. (Stairs, ladders, railings, miscellaneous metals, etc.)
- Ensuring work is performed safely
- Ensuring work is completed with quality workmanship in a timely manner
- Working at heights, mostly on flat roofs
- Manage a work crew of 1 – 3 people
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 5+ years experience performing installations and working with metal
- Able to read and interpret drawings and blueprints
- G Driver’s license with clean drivers abstract
- Operate various field equipment including scissor lift, zoom boom, telehandler, forklift (training and certification can be provided)
- Good with power tools such as drills, drivers, angle grinder etc.
- Able to physically lift and carry product, equipment, and tools
- Able to work independently
- Able to lead a team
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn about the industry
- Have proper Personal Protective Equipment. (Hard Hat and CSA approved safety boots)

- Hours: 40 Hours per week, possibly weather dependent
- Some overtime and shift work when necessary

- Minimal potential for overnight work around Ontario

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour
