We are seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial Garage Door Service Technician & Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide variety of commercial garage doors and related systems. Requirement(s)
- Minimum 3 years of Commercial, in-field experience (references required)
- Good driving record
- Valid Drivers license
- Be willing to relocate to the Rapid City area of South Dakota (if applicable)
Responsibilities
- Installation of Commercial garage door(s) & opener(s)
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to complete installations and repairs effectively
- Perform heavy lifting as required during the delivery & installation process
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on installed doors to ensure optimal functionality
- Work safely on construction sites by adhering to safety protocols and utilizing proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Collaborate with team members to fabricate custom components and modify existing systems to meet client specifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques is preferred
- Knowledge of electrical systems related to garage door openers or automation is desirable
Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
