Job Duties:
- Implement Healthy Beds Program: Maintain the health of ornamental beds, ensuring plants thrive throughout the seasons.
- Plant Care: Weeding, spraying, trimming, fertilizing, watering, and general bed cleanup to keep customer landscapes looking their best.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers about plant care, plant health issues, and provide advice to help them maintain beautiful yards.
- Plant Health Management: Identify and diagnose plant health problems and take appropriate actions to maintain plant vitality.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong knowledge of plant identification, including weeds, perennials, shrubs, and trees.
- Ability to diagnose plant health issues and recommend solutions.
- Experience or strong knowledge of horticulture and landscaping practices.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- 2+ years of experience in the horticulture industry or related education.
- EPA Applicator License.
- Strong communication skills and customer service experience.
- Available to work Monday through Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
