Chef at Fishing Lodge Jobs in Toronto at Brabant Lodge LTD

Brabant Lodge is a full-service fly-in sport fishing lodge located on an island in the remote Northwest Territories. We are looking for an experienced cook to fill a seasonal contract. Must relocate to Brabant Island in North West Territories for the duration of the contract.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate, attentive, detail oriented and enthusiastic. Duties include preparing plated breakfast & dinner from a preset menu, assisting in preparing boxed lunches made to guest order, preparing deserts, all for 20-30 individuals daily (staff & guests). Additional duties include dishes, kitchen clean-up, managing food waste, etc.

The successful applicant will have experience in a commercial kitchen and cooking off a provided menu.

The selected candidate must be able to live in a remote setting in Northwest Terretories for the duration of the contract.

Compensation: Salary per month. Gratuities (cash tips) are standard at Brabant Lodge. Room & Board included (private living corridors). Travel to/from Brabant Lodge will be provided.
