Position Overview
Custom Bilt Metals is seeking a dependable professional CDL-A Driver to join our team. This position is ideal for a driver who enjoys regional routes, values consistent home time, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
Drivers will deliver gutters, roofing, siding, and building products throughout Idaho, and Western Montana, with weekly routes extending as far as Bozeman, MT. Most deliveries are made during the week, allowing you to be home every weekend.
What You’ll Do
- Safely operate a CDL-A commercial vehicle on regional routes.
- Deliver gutters, roofing, and related building materials.
- Assist with unloading smaller customer orders when required.
- Secure loads and ensure products arrive damage-free.
- Complete required DOT inspections and paperwork.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and represent the company positively with customers.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, operations, and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Schedule
- Tuesday through Friday
- Overnight travel required during the week
- Home every Friday afternoon/evening
- Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off

- Eastern Washington
- North Idaho
- Western Montana
- Furthest delivery point: Bozeman, Montana
Qualifications
Required
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current Medical Card
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Ability to work as a team
Preferred
- Flatbed experience
- Forklift experience
- Experience securing and transporting building materials
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 150 pounds regularly
- Ability to assist with unloading smaller orders
- Ability to climb in and out of truck and trailer safely

Pay: Competitive and based on experience.
