We are seeking a passionate and talented Bartender to craft extraordinary cocktails, tantalize taste buds, and create unforgettable experiences for our guests.
You should possess creativity and flair with the ability to provide evidence of being ambitious, decisive, dependable, adaptable, and organized with a sense of self-realization.
Responsibilities:
- Create innovative, handcrafted cocktails using premium spirits, fresh ingredients, and unique techniques.
- Propensity for the creation and ideation side of cocktailing, assisting with cocktail menu creation and development.
- Ability to create syrups, infusions and tinctures to specification.
- Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with guests to understand their preferences and recommend personalized cocktail experiences.
- Develop and update an enticing menu of signature cocktails, seasonal specials, and classic favorites.
- Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages
- Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked.
- Adhering to all food, beverage, and alcohol safety and quality regulations.
- Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.
- Maintaining a clean work and seating area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
- Resolving customer complaints; example: food quality and customer service.
- Communicating efficiently and professionally with other leaders and support staff in addition to guests, vendors, and other community members.
- Maintaining a positive workplace culture within the brand by providing staff with their own memorable experiences and educational opportunities.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated expertise in mixology, including a solid understanding of flavor combinations, techniques, and presentation.
- Extensive knowledge of premium spirits, craft beers, wines, and other bar ingredients.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create memorable experiences for guests.
- Proven experience within the bar, restaurant, and hospitality industry.
- A positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with team & guests.
- Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
- Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
- A food handler’s certificate + SmartServe Certificate + Basic First-Aid Certificate.
- Sound knowledge of food & beverage health and safety regulations.
- Strong business acumen with exemplary leadership & management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills and exceptional customer service skills.
- Familiarity with local and international cocktail trends, as well as a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
