Duties
- Perform a wide range of beauty services including hair styling, hair extensions, color treatments, makeup application, eyelash extensions, dermal fillers, Botox treatments, body waxing, hair threading, and dermabrasion.
- Deliver advanced skincare treatments such as esthetic laser therapy, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin injections, and med spa procedures to enhance client results.
- Conduct nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, and nail art with precision and attention to detail.
- Provide lash extension applications and eyelash lift/tint services to enhance natural beauty.
- Manage guest consultations to recommend appropriate treatments and products while upselling retail items effectively.
- Maintain strict sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations; ensure all tools and workspaces are sanitized after each service.
- Utilize salon management software such as Millennium or MINDBODY to schedule appointments, process transactions, and keep detailed client records.
- Engage actively with clients through social media management and product demos to promote services and build lasting relationships.
- Support front desk operations by greeting guests warmly, answering inquiries professionally, and managing appointment bookings seamlessly.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of cosmetology practices including haircutting (straight razor techniques), coloring (color theory), styling, and barbering.
- Proficiency in esthetic treatments such as dermabrasion, laser therapy, body waxing, hair threading, and deep tissue massage.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse clientele.
- Experience with salon software systems like Millennium or MINDBODY for efficient appointment scheduling and client management.
- Ability to perform advanced procedures including dermal fillers and Botox injections with proper certification where applicable.
- Skilled in retail sales techniques; capable of demonstrating products effectively to increase sales.
- Knowledge of social media management strategies for marketing services and engaging with clients online.
- Excellent sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff.
- Management experience is a plus—able to oversee daily operations or assist in team coordination when needed.
