You’re a marketing professional who expertly manages the performance, functionality and user experience of various websites. Highly organized with a keen eye for detail, you carry out web strategy, set KPI’s, maintain and create content, and partner with various internal stakeholders to ensure customers have the best possible experience. Plus, you’re always game to help with additional digital responsibilities – like drafting and sending emails, setting up social posts – as needed.

We’re pleased to partner with our client – a national Canadian retailer and leader in their product category – in their search for a Website Experience Specialist. The right person for the role has a deep understanding of current best practices of digital marketing practices, and solid experience in managing and optimizing corporate websites.

About The WorkplaceThis is a full-time hybrid role that involves working 3 days/week from their office in the Fraser Valley.

About The Role

Oversee the development and approval of strategy and goals for the corporate website, including sales and lead generation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to understand needs and translate them into effective online solutions.

Develop, implement and maintain up-to-date websites that align with best practices in the industry.

Ensure third-party apps and services are properly integrated.

Update web content (images, documents, links, videos, photos) regularly, ensuring they’re accurate and relevant.

Conduct regular audits to update broken links and outdated content; identify and fix bugs, errors or inconsistencies; and implement changes to optimize speed, responsiveness and user experience.

Identify and address website-related issues promptly in collaboration with relevant teams.

Implement and optimize SEO strategies to increase website visibility and achieve KPI’s.

Track, analyze and report on performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Conduct usability testing based on user feedback to enhance navigation and functionality.

Implement, optimize and assess conversion tools to ensure targets are met, performance is maximized, and ROI is achieved.

The salary range for this role is $85,000 – $100,000, along with competitive healthcare benefits, RRSP matching, corporate discounts on a wide-range of products, and more.

About You

Proven experience in website development and maintenance of a high-performing lead generation and sales platform.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, web development, or a related field.

Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and content management systems (CMS).

Strong understanding of SEO best practices and web analytics tools.

Excellent business, planning and problem-solving skills.

Familiar with online security protocols and compliance standards.

Experience with e-commerce platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud and WordPress) is an asset.

Knowledge of web accessibility standards and familiarity with graphic design tools are a plus.
