Driver
Terms of Employment:
Permanent, Full Time, T-F, Afternoon/evening shift – 10:30am- 9:00pm, may include overtime
when required. This position primarily consists of warehouse/yard duties and smaller
deliveries using our 3-ton truck. Class 1 duties will be limited to a small amount of larger
deliveries and holiday coverage for other class 1 drivers when required.
Salary:

$500.00 signing bonus to be received upon successfully completing 5 months of employment

Skill Requirements: Education:
Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.):
Driver's Licence (Class 1 or A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
Experience:
2 years minimum
Experience in using cranes and handling steel will be an asset

Loading and unloading of goods, Pay and receive payments for goods, Oversee condition of

performance and mechanical fitness, Perform preventive maintenance
Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment, Check and weigh materials and
products, Sort, pack, crate and package materials and products, Assist machine operators,
assemblers and other workers, Clean work areas and equipment, Perform other labouring
and elemental activities

Steel-toed safety boots
