Warehouse Team Member Jobs in Penticton at Podium Imports
We are a Penticton-based wholesale sports equipment distributor, primarily to cycling, running and outdoor retailers across Canada. We are looking for hard-working, upbeat and energetic people to join our team. Our work environment is collaborative, and we pride ourselves in working together to get the job done and done right.
We have flexibility in hours – if you can only go 2 or 3 days a week, we can deal with that. If you need to be home when the kids get back from school, let’s talk. Our priority is hiring good people, how much they are able to work comes after that.
Warehouse operations are similar everywhere, but here is an idea of what you might be doing on any given day:
Assist in receiving and storing incoming shipments.
Assist in picking orders and packaging them for delivery.
Re-pack bulk product into retail assortments.
Make modifications to existing packaging.
Help to maintain an organized and efficient flow of product.
Perform physical counts in coordination with inventory control
Help to keep the warehouse a safe, clean place to work.
Qualifications and attributes:
experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite a plus
Comfortable working on a computer
attention to detail
accuracy in matching part numbers on a pick list to the product
Ability to lift 40lbs
familiarity with sporting goods industry an asset
Hours: 20-40 per week, flexible schedule
