About the Role
Deakin Industries is seeking a reliable and organized Shipping, Receiving & Customer Service Associate to join our team at our Vancouver location. This role combines warehouse logistics with direct customer service and is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a team environment and supporting day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare customer orders for shipment and create shipping labels
- Receive and process incoming supplier shipments
- Maintain accurate shipping documentation and inventory records
- Provide customer service support and respond to inquiries by phone and at our sales counter
- Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal team members
- Assist with general warehouse and logistics operations as required
Qualifications
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and currently living in the Metro Vancouver area
- Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work effectively with all team members
- Experience or education related to the resources industries is considered an asset
Employment Details
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Location: Vancouver, British Columbia
- Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
Compensation: $23–$25 per hour depending on experience, with opportunities for increased responsibility and compensation as experience grows.
