Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Warehouse Associate to join our team! In this vital role, you will be the backbone of our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient handling of shipments, inventory management, and order fulfillment. Your proactive approach will help us maintain smooth distribution processes and uphold our standards of quality and sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move products throughout the warehouse.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments with accuracy.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision, ensuring correct items are selected through order picking and order fulfillment procedures.
- Stock shelves efficiently by organizing products according to warehouse distribution standards while maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
- Utilize basic math skills for inventory counts, label reading, and verifying quantities during stock checks.
- Assist with packaging products securely for transport, adhering to quality standards for orders.
- Support warehouse management system updates to track inventory levels, stock movements, and order statuses.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution environments is preferred.
- Certification or experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with order picking & packing techniques.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.
- Ability to load & unload shipments efficiently using appropriate equipment.
- Good physical stamina to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
