We are seeking a Vice President – Construction to lead field execution across our projects and play a key role in scaling our operations.
About RareBuilt
RareBuilt is differentiated by its ability to deliver true custom homes at scale, including:
• Fully customized single-family homes (no stock plans)
• Customized townhomes and villas within our communities
• Ability to deliver custom homes on accelerated timelines (~12 months)
• Development of our own residential communities
• Internal control of key components including foundations and millwork

The Role
The Vice President – Construction will be responsible for leading all construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This is a senior leadership role focused on execution, team leadership, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead all construction operations across multiple projects and communities
• Drive scheduling discipline and project delivery timelines
• Ensure consistent quality standards across all builds
• Manage construction teams, site supervisors, and trade relationships
• Oversee cost control, budgeting, and margin performance at the project level
• Collaborate closely with development, design, and leadership teams
• Implement and improve systems, processes, and KPIs
• Support operational planning for future growth and scale
Leadership Expectations
• Take ownership of field execution and performance
• Build and lead high-performing teams
• Maintain strong trade partner relationships
• Operate with a high level of accountability and urgency
• Balance customization with efficiency and discipline
Ideal Candidate Profile
• 15+ years of experience in residential construction
• Senior leadership experience within a homebuilder or developer
• Experience managing multiple projects or communities simultaneously
• Strong understanding of custom homebuilding
• Proven ability to deliver projects on schedule and within budget
• Experience working with trades and managing field teams
• High standards for quality and client experience
• Strong operational mindset with attention to detail
