Truck Driver Jobs in Delta at North Delta Seafoods Ltd.
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class 5 License, a clean driving record, and a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate truck to deliver shipments and unload truck.
- Inspect vehicle before and after trips, reporting any issues.
- Ensure load is properly secured and complies with safety regulations.
- Follow all CFIA and company safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of hours, mileage, and deliveries.
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse staff as needed.
- Handle and document delivery paperwork (invoices, delivery receipts, etc.).
- Perform basic maintenance tasks and keep the truck clean and presentable.
- Perform additional tasks on the production floor when not engaged in driving duties and/or when requested by management.
- Additional duties as assigned by management.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Valid Class 5 license.
- Valid Sit-down Counterbalance forklift certificate.
- Proven experience as a truck driver (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Clean driving record (no DUI or major violations).
- Knowledge of truck driving rules and regulations.
- Ability to operate GPS and other navigation tools.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
- Previous experience handling food and understanding of food safety regulations preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00-$29.00 per hour
