Duties
- Operate dry cleaning machines safely and efficiently to process garments and textiles according to specified procedures
- Handle laundry tasks, including sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding clothing items
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with their garment needs and answering questions professionally
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and tools to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities accurately during customer transactions
- Perform basic math calculations for billing, pricing, or inventory purposes
- Conduct quality checks on finished items to ensure they meet company standards before returning to customers
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is highly desirable, offering familiarity with guest service standards
- Prior work in dry cleaning or laundry services will be considered an asset for understanding industry-specific processes
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management
- Experience with cleaning tasks or general maintenance is beneficial but not mandatory
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
