Trade Compliance Support Analyst Intern

ABB’s Electrification organization is responsible for the go-to-market strategy and generating profitable growth for the Electrification Business Area. Our 10,000 strong commercial team represents the portfolio of all Electrification Business Area Divisions in over 100 countries. Our unmatched domain expertise across key industry verticals and channels combined with our truly global footprint makes us able to deliver extraordinary business results, supporting our customers with solutions which address their current needs, whilst considering the future emerging trends such as Urbanization, Digitalization and Shift to Electricity and Sustainable Energy. In team with the Country Trade Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the Country Trade Compliance activities for all Business Areas and Divisions of ABB Canada by providing operational support such as the creation of reports, and the analysis of the data from these reports. You will also have the opportunity to use your continuous improvement knowledge in the improvement of existing procedures and the chance to promote your organizational skills by the creation of sharing platforms such as a Trade Compliance Intranet page and a SharePoint, etc.

Your responsibilities

Create reports (Excel).

Analyze data and communicate with stakeholders (EN & FR).

Project management: create the structure of the intranet page, create project implementation plan.

Restructure and maintain SharePoint page.

Improve existing procedures and processes.

Other operational activities and support as per ongoing projects and activities.

Your background

Excel skillful.

Sound knowledge of other Microsoft Office Suite tools.

Basic knowledge of Continuous and process improvement methodologies.

Strong organizational skills (not required, but an asset).

communication skills and diplomacy.

English and French proficiency.

Hybrid formula (about 2 days/week in the office at Montréal Campus).

Asset: knowledge of international trade and customs compliance.
