Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking applications for temporary Laborers for work at Shell Scotford. CLAC Project with benefits package and starting base rate of $29.09 based on a 5 & 2 rotation. Project duration 3 weeks.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lifting, carrying, material
Spotting equipment
Site cleanup
Assisting with carpenters and other trades with various tasks
Past experience with painting and drywall is an asset.
Following safe work and quality policies and procedures
Take instructions from immediate Supervisor to complete tasks as outlined daily
The successful candidate must possess the following skills/attributes:
Minimum 1-2 years of industrial laborer experience
Email address and laptop provided for use in heated warehouse structure.
Be able to lift, carry and handle up to 50 lbs.
Experience working on an industrial construction site
Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
Able to work with their hands and safely operate small power tools
Must have the following:
Valid Driver’s License (not GDL)
CSTS 2020
WHMIS 2015
All candidates must be able to produce a negative result on a drug & alcohol test.
Transportation/travel costs is not provided.
