Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter to support a high-volume engineering hiring push over the next four months. This person will lead technical recruitment efforts for our engineering organization, helping us hire Senior Backend Engineers, Senior Frontend Developers, and other technical talent quickly and effectively.
This is a hands-on 4 month contract role for someone who can operate independently with minimal guidance. You will partner closely with the CTO, engineering leaders, and HR to help shape hiring processes, identify strong technical talent, manage candidate pipelines, and ensure a smooth and efficient interview experience from start to finish.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, execution-focused, and experienced recruiting senior engineering talent in fast-paced startup or technology environments.
What You’ll Do
Technical Recruitment
- Own full-cycle recruitment for technical and engineering positions.
- Recruit for roles including Senior Backend Engineers, Senior Frontend Developers, and other technical positions as needed.
- Partner directly with the CTO and engineering leadership to understand hiring priorities and define ideal candidate profiles.
- Conduct recruiter phone screens and initial candidate assessments.
- Source, engage, and manage technical talent pipelines across multiple channels.
- Help hiring teams identify what strong technical talent looks like and improve hiring calibration where needed.
Process & Coordination
- Manage all interview scheduling and coordination across candidates and interview teams.
- Ensure candidates move efficiently through the interview process with strong communication and follow-up throughout.
- Maintain recruiting trackers, candidate pipelines, interview feedback, and ATS updates.
- Drive process improvements and help streamline recruiting operations during a period of rapid hiring growth.
- Partner closely with HR and hiring managers to keep searches organized, prioritized, and moving forward.
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of technical recruiting experience with a focus on engineering hiring.
- Proven experience recruiting senior software engineering talent in startup or high-growth technology environments.
- Strong understanding of technical recruiting and modern engineering organizations.
- Ability to independently manage multiple searches and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong sourcing, screening, and candidate management skills.
- Highly organized with excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities.
- Experience partnering directly with technical leadership teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience recruiting within gaming, social gaming, fintech, or consumer technology companies.
