Production Team Leader (#26-30)
Afternoon/Night Shift
With the upcoming CRV Major Model change, LTI will be required to expand both the Injection and Assembly Departments. In preparation for the increase of manpower, we are looking to add 2-3 Production Team Leaders to support our Afternoon and Night shifts.
Position Overview
- Reports to the Manager – Production
- Promote, monitor and enforce safe and clean work environments
- Promote, monitor and enforce 5S principles
- Coordinate training, evaluations and work assignments in Production
- Promote and enhance excellent teamwork and working relations with staff
- Generate, promote and manage continuous improvement
Candidate Profile
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Positive attitude
- Good attendance
- Computer literacy and demonstrated MS Excel/Word/Power Point skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred) or 5 years of experience at Listowel Technology Inc.
- Post secondary education is preferred

Requirements:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or Post Secondary Education; previous supervisory experience or Technician level at LTI.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of the organization.
MATHEMATICALS SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
