The focus of the Team Leader – Operations Audit & Compliance Team Leader is to own and facilitate and coordinate all internal and external audit functions that are required for Operations across Maxxia and Rem Serv.
This role will be the key contact with the Client Engagement and Strategy team to ensure the successful management of our key employer assurance programs as well as ensuring the key contractual requirements that impact GRS Operations are executed and addition this role will also manage a team responsible for direct audit activity within the GRS Operations space, focusing on regulatory and contractual compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Key Success in this role will focus on growing the audit management functionality within the operational areas and working with the GRS operations teams to ensure compliance and readiness for all internal and external audit.
Maintain a view of the key outcomes from audits that require change to GRS operations and work with the operational leaders to determine the steps required to implement any changes across people process or technology.
Work with the contract managers of our major contracts to ensure employer assurance programs are supported and manage any changes that are required for GRS operations. Through identifying what areas of the business will be impacted and the urgency of the change.
Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across multiple areas of MMS including but not limited to Tax and Compliance, Client Strategy and Engagement and Business Systems.
Ability to
be able to engage with external stakeholders and ensure that business needs are being met in all interactions, ensuring that external stakeholders are challenged when required to support the best possible outcome for the client and business.
Manage a team towards achieving team based and individual KPIs (including operational, customer service and where applicable sales metrics) and behaviours, conducting one on one and team meetings to assist in the development of a high performing team.
Manage workflow and real time queues via the allocation of tasks, monitoring of productivity/QA as required.
