This position will be working from our Stuart office.
Our corporate headquarter is in Deerfield Beach, FL with satellite offices in Stuart, FL and Miami, FL.
Description:
The Survey Technician is responsible for assisting the Survey Crew Chief in day-to-day field and office tasks. This position plays a critical role in the pre-construction, construction and final phases of our projects. You will work closely with Survey Crew Chiefs, Other Technicians and CAD Technicians to ensure that all work is accurate and aligned with project goals. The position also requires:
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work on multiple project teams and crews
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Keeping detailed notes of work performed on each project.
- Keeping equipment and vehicles stocked with supplies and ready for each project.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in Surveying and Mapping
- CST level 1 or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- High School or General Educational Development (GED) diploma
- Degree in surveying and/or related sciences preferred
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions (heat, cold, high wind, heavy rain, etc.)
- Ability to travel
Schedule: This is an hourly position with Monday-Friday schedule. Nights and weekends may be required from time to time.
