Position Summary
The Guest Services Supervisor plays a key leadership role in delivering an exceptional Tommy Gun’s experience. This position is responsible for overseeing front-of-house operations, leading the Guest Services team, and ensuring smooth shop flow through effective use of the Shortcuts booking system.
The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with experience in customer service, team management, and HR practices, who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Management
- Supervise, coach, and support the Guest Services team to ensure consistent, high-level performance
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding guest experience and shop culture
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of Guest Services staff
- Provide ongoing feedback, performance management, and coaching
- Address employee concerns professionally and in alignment with HR best practices
Guest Experience
- Ensure every guest receives a welcoming, efficient, and premium experience
- Manage guest flow, wait times, and service allocation through effective coordination
- Handle guest concerns or escalations with professionalism and care
- Maintain a positive, energetic atmosphere aligned with the Tommy Gun’s brand
Operations & Systems
- Oversee daily front desk operations, including check-ins, payments, and bookings
- Utilize and manage the Shortcuts software system for scheduling, reporting, and client management
- Ensure accurate service allocation and support efficient shop flow
- Monitor daily sales, service metrics, and team productivity
- Support inventory tracking and retail sales initiatives
HR & Compliance
- Support HR functions including scheduling, attendance tracking, and policy adherence
- Ensure team compliance with company standards, dress code, and procedures
- Participate in disciplinary actions when required, in partnership with management
- Promote a respectful, inclusive, and professional workplace culture
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience, preferably in a customer service or retail environment
- Proven experience managing and motivating a team
- Strong understanding of HR practices including coaching, conflict resolution, and performance management
- Experience using Shortcuts software (or similar booking/POS systems) is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
