The Director of Marketing is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for the development, execution, and oversight of all marketing, branding, and communications initiatives across Damian Family Care Centers. In alignment with the mission, this role ensures that marketing efforts effectively promote access to care, patient engagement, health equity, and community awareness of services. This position combines strategic leadership with operational execution, including digital marketing, social media management, graphic design oversight, and community-facing campaigns. The Director will play a key role in elevating DFCC’s brand, increasing patient volume, and strengthening community partnerships.
Job Duties:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Maintain and enhance DFCC’s brand across all platforms and sites.
- Identify opportunities to expand patient reach, service line visibility, and community impact.
- Ensure messaging is culturally competent and accessible to diverse populations.
- Lead the organization’s digital presence, including website content, and online reputation management.
- Develop and manage social media strategy across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Glassdoor, LinkedIn).
- Create, schedule, and monitor content that promotes services, health awareness campaigns, and community events.
- Analyze engagement metrics and adjust strategies to optimize reach and effectiveness.
- Oversee the creation of marketing materials including brochures, flyers, newsletters, presentations, and signage.
- Ensure all materials are visually consistent with DFCC brand standards.
- Support internal and external communications through compelling visual storytelling.
- Manage or directly produce design work using platforms such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
- Collaborate with clinical and operation teams to promote key service lines (e.g., primary care, behavioral health, dental, recovery services).
- Support community health initiatives, awareness campaigns, and patient engagement strategies.
- Coordinate marketing support for health fairs, outreach events, and organizational initiatives.
- Partner with HR and leadership to support internal communications, employee engagement initiatives, and organizational announcements in promoting recruitment campaigns and employer branding efforts.
- Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics (e.g., campaign ROI, digital engagement).
- Use data to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Manage relationships with external vendors (e.g., printers, media agencies, digital platforms).
- Develop and oversee the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
Essential Functions:
· Develop and execute marketing strategies that support patient growth and community engagement.
· Manage and maintain the organization’s digital presence, including website and social media platforms.
· Create and/or oversee the development of marketing materials, including graphic design assets.
· Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all communication channels.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, operational, and administrative teams.
· Analyze marketing data and adjust strategies to improve outcomes.
· Ensure compliance with healthcare marketing regulations and patient privacy standards (HIPAA).
Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following responsibilities may be delegated or shared with other administrative leaders as appropriate:
- Attend community events, health fairs, and outreach activities as needed.
- Provide photography or videography support for events and campaigns.
- Assist with special projects, organizational initiatives, or executive presentations.
- Support grant-related marketing and reporting efforts.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Public Health, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive marketing experience, preferably in healthcare, nonprofit, or FQHC settings.
- Demonstrated experience in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
- Experience with website content management systems and email marketing platforms.
- Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights).
- Strong understanding of healthcare marketing and community-based outreach.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
