Job Summary
We are a successful sign manufacturing company located in Toms River NJ. This position is ideally suited for a career-minded individual as the selected candidate should grow into a leadership position within this role and the company. Responsibilities and Duties
- Follow all safety procedures to insure a clean and safe jobsite at all times
- Apply vinyl to a variety of substrates
- Cut thin substrates to size
- Weed and tape
- Participate in production and installation scheduling meetings
- Maintain inventory and recommend purchasing at agreed upon re-order points
- Install, remove, or service commercial signs at multiple heights
- Work safely from aerial equipment and ladders or scaffolds as needed
- Drive and operate service trucks and other aerial equipment
- Install post and panel signs in ground – require digging 2’ – 3’ holes
- Apply vinyls to windows and walls
- Mount dimensional letters to walls and substrates
- Apply vinyl decals and cut letters to vehicles
- Inspect finished materials for quality
- Visit potential project sites to take measurements, pictures and evaluate potential installation challenges
- Ability to handle physical workload
Qualifications and Skills
- Commitment to safety
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of design, sign, printing or light construction or other relevant experience
- Strong work ethic, respect for deadlines
- Problem solver
- Eye for detail, commitment to excellence
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Clean driver’s license
