About the Role
Medical Arts Health Research Group is seeking a qualified Sub-Investigator (MD or NP) to support ongoing clinical research studies in Nanaimo. This role is ideal for a physician or nurse practitioner interested in contributing to innovative research in a flexible, part-time capacity.
Schedule
- Approximately 1–4 hours per month
- Periodic 2–6 hour in-person sessions during patient dosing
- Additional remote work as needed
Responsibilities
- Review and assess:
- Laboratory reports
- Vital signs
- ECG results
- Attend in-person dosing sessions to monitor patient safety
- Be available to respond to any adverse reactions to the investigational product (psilocybin)
- Support study compliance and patient care during clinical trials
Qualifications
- Licensed MD or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- In good standing with relevant regulatory body
- Interest in clinical research and patient safety
- Ability to attend occasional in-person sessions in Nanaimo
Compensation
- $300 per session/hour (adjust wording if needed based on how you want to present it)
