We are seeking an experienced and safety-minded Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic and growing team at our steel service center in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia!
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading inventory, managing, and cataloguing inventory, and operating different types of machinery; other duties include but are not limited to:
Fulfill orders by packaging necessary materials and preparing them for shipment.
Load, unload, and transport new metal materials by hand or with basic handling equipment.
Store materials in appropriate areas.
Sort and grade various types of metals.
Manage and catalogue inventory with consistently updated records.
Track inventory levels and make recommendations for purchases when supply is low.
Comply with all safety regulations.
Requirements:
Must have own transportation.
Minimum 1+ years’ experience working in a warehouse.
Experience and knowledge of the steel industry preferred.
CSA-certified steel-toed footwear.
Ability to carry and lift up to 50lbs repetitively.
Physical Requirements/ Working Conditions:
Must be able to do the following movements during extended periods of time: Lifting, pulling, climbing, standing, sitting, lying down, squatting and kneeling.
Must be able to work both inside the warehouse and outside in all weather conditions (including extreme cold, heat, and inclement weather)
Able to manage equipment and tools utilized onsite.

Hours:
Monday-Friday: 8:00 am-5:00 pm
Saturdays: 8:00 am- 12:00 pm
Salary range:
CA$18.00 – CA$21.00 per hour
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
