Street Sweeper Operator Jobs in Nisku at Mida Contracting
Mida Contracting is currently seeking full-time experienced street sweeper operators for upcoming 2026 season.
Primary duties shall include but not limited to,
-The day to day operation of street sweepers (Elgin Sweeper) to clean debris from parking lots and residential areas for Edmonton and surrounding area.
-Complete daily maintenance on equipment for pre-trips and after job completion.
-Washing and cleaning of equipment with broom changes and maintenance
-Working with other crews or crew members to complete the job task.
-May require hand work to help complete job or clean up tight areas where equipment can not reach.
Applicants preferred with experience operating Elgin streets sweepers and the day to day maintenance of the equipment. Valid driver’s license with air brake endorsement and driver’s abstract will be required. Be knowledgeable of roads and routes for the city of Edmonton and surrounding areas. Have good attention to detail and being able to follow directions.
Applicants must have a safe mind set and can work alone as well as work well with others to complete the necessary task in an effective, safe and timely manner. Other helpful experience may include basic mechanical knowledge and skid steer experience.
