STOCKER JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with Truck Deliveries filled with merchandise upon arrival
- Use a pallet jack to pull full pallets of merchandise inside store from deliveries
- Stage pallets in backroom with a pallet jack
- Pull full water pallets from backroom through store to front of store and stage for sale
- Potentially learn to drive a fork lift to deliver pallets as necessary
- Lift boxes repeatedly to stage on U-Boats to stock on sales floor
- Pull the full U-Boat from backroom to the sales floor
- Physically able to lift at least forty (40) pounds.
- Must be able to bend, stoop and squat to stock the shelves with merchandise numerous times throughout your shift
- Must be able to use repetitive arm movements when stocking, dusting, fronting and facing merchandise, rotating merchandise and pulling close dated merchandise and/or out of date merchandise
- Must be able to place merchandise in correct locations by verifying UPC of product to the label
- Must be able to lift fountain BIBs to refill fountain machine
- Must be able to stock to the walk-in cooler, freezers, etc. for long periods of time as necessary
- Maintain the highest physical appearance standards possible, including wearing a full Petroleum Wholesale uniform at all times.
- Maintains confidentiality regarding all company issues.
- Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates and as requested by the store manager
- Attends store meetings as directed by Store Manager.
- Accomplishes any other duties necessary for the operation and maintenance of the store in an efficient, profitable and safe manner, as directed by Store Manager.
